Floors are on the receiving end of day-to-day traffic and unavoidable mishaps and spills. Savvy and sensible preventative steps will not only protect and preserve your floors; it also means you will be spending less time cleaning it.
Here are some time saving tips and tricks:

|Wipe up liquid spills immediately.||Water! Wet mops! Wood & water do not mix. Excessive water can damage the wood and leave a residue.|
|Only use appropriate floor cleaners – *Bona mop and floor cleaner recommended.||All-purpose cleaners – they can leave your floors dull and looking lack lustre|
|Limit exposure to direct sunlight by closing blinds and curtains.||Lengthy exposure to direct sunlight – can fade or dry out the wood.|
|Room humidity 30 to 50%.||Oil-based soaps and wax.|
|Use Protective mats and/or rugs under office chairs or chairs with caster wheels – Felt-backed are best.||Rugs with rubber or abrasive backing – these can discolour, trap moisture and damage your floor.|
|Maintain Room temperature 15 to 27*C.||Steam Cleaners.|
